The paint on the door panels is in great condition and all the glass looks great. The shifter and the steering column are both in excellent shape. You can really tell the interior was well cared for post restoration.
This is a very unique paint color. It is similar to the BMW factory color Laguna Seca blue, which is a rare and highly desired color code. The paint is in good condition and it sure shines up well. There are a few nicks and scratches here and there. The American racing wheels give the truck a great stance. The wheels in combination with the lines of this truck create a picturesque scene when it drives by.
The small block Chevy 350ci V8 is connected to a SM465 4-speed transmission which uses the 1st gear as a high torque granny gear. You should start in 2nd gear for normal driving. Unless you are hauling a load, then 1st gear will get you going. It was the only 4 speed used in the light/medium duty vehicles, and was very common. It has a 6.55:1 first, and is nearly bulletproof. The Ford 9” rear end is one of the most reliable axles in the ford line up. The V8 has been rebuilt and has a mild cam, which makes plenty of power to get up and go. The new aluminum radiator keeps everything cool, which gives the optional daily driver peace of mind. The front disk brakes bring this pick-up to a halt in no time. Everything is mechanically sound on this truck. There are no leaks, strange noises or abnormal sounds. This is a great driver!
